About SETA: |
Since 2005, the International Symposium on Econometric Theory and Applications (SETA) has become a leading academic event in Asia, providing an international platform for researchers in econometrics to come together to present and discuss their ideas. The symposium aims to encourage econometric research, both theoretical and applied/empirical, and foster communication and collaboration among attendees. Chung-Ming Kuan led the efforts to establish the SETA, serving as the inaugural organizer until 2019. Since then, Yoosoon Chang has served as the organizer, and in this role has brought stronger emphasis on applied/empirical research, broadly defined. |
The 16th International Symposium is co-hosted by Yonsei Economic Research Institute, the Korean Econometric Society, and Bank of Korea. The event will take place online on July 20 and 21, 2022, and will be managed by Yonsei University from Seoul, Korea. |
